37/65
There is High Probability that the current
Shackelford County Jail Facilitywill be Shut Down by theTexas Commission on Jail Standards
8/8/2019 Shackelford County LEC 2
38/65
Shackelford County is mandated by the State of Texas
to either house the inmates or transport them toanother facility that is regulated by theTexas Commission on Jail Standards
These other facilities could be hundreds of milesaway based on availability of open beds and
the other Countys requirements
Inmates could be required to be housed
in multiple counties
8/8/2019 Shackelford County LEC 2
39/65

current jail facility

cost Shackelford County?
