May 2012
US 281 Trade Corridor to Dallas via SH 130: A Value Option for Trucking Through Central Texas
SH 130 Concession Company, LLC Confidential
The suggested route is US 281 north to Three Rivers. Then SH 72 to Kenedy. From Kenedy take SH 80 north to SH 123 at Karnes City. When SH 123 intersects I-10 at Seguin, travel east a few miles to SH 130. Follow SH 130 to Georgetown until it intersects I-35, then north to DFW.
SH 130 5/6 will be opened in the last quarter of this year. This will make a one-way trip to Dallas about 500 miles, requiring 8.5 hours, 90 gallons of diesel, average speed 60 mph.
