Examinations
Exams for the Part Time Courses (MMM/MHRDM/MFM) for Semester III
and V were conducted from October 28 to 29, 2017, November 5 and
November 11, 2017.
Exams for the Full Time PGDM Trimester I was conducted from October
23 to 28, 2017, October 30 -31, 2017 and November 1-3, 2017.
Exams for the Full Time MMS–Semester III were conducted from October
24 to 27, 2017, October 30-31, 2017 and from November 1-2, 2017.
Gurupurb
November 5, 2017 was Gurupurb of Guru Nanak Devji. GNIMS Staff and
Students celebrated the day at Gorodia Nagar, Ghatkopar, Mumbai.

Pratibimb – HR Meet
The 3rd HR Meet was organized by the HR Faculty on Saturday, November
11, 2017 from 09.30 am till 01.30 pm in the G. N. Khalsa College’s
Seminar Hall. HR Faculty conducted the HR Meet successfully. All the
speakers interacted with the students and answered their queries.
Book Exhibition
GNIMS Library organized the monthly book exhibition on November 15,
2017, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Students and Professors selected books
for the library. Books exhibitions are held to build up the collection of the
library and to encourage Library users to read the books selected by
them.

Student Achevement.
Mr. Vinod More, Semester V part-time student secured 1st position in the
Inter Institute Project presentation competition held on November 19,
2017 at St. Francis Institute.
Ms. Manasi Gavas, PGDM student got a scholarship - a certificate of
recognition from HEF and FPJ and cash Rs. 20000/-. The event was very
well organized at Thane.
Panel Discussion
PGDM and MMS First Year students of GNIMS attended a panel discussion
on November 30, 2017 at WeSchool on 'Managers are not real drivers of
engagement' organized by NHRDN.

Industrial Visits
Part-time students were taken for an Industrial Visit to Sula Wines, Nashik
on November 19, 2017.
HR Summits
GNIMS Full Time Students participated in the HR Summit organized by
NHRDN at Dopamine. The topic was Gamification in HR Summit. It was
really an eye opener that technology has reached our personal and
professional lives in such a huge way. Opening address and the context
was set by our Director. Students were lucky to have such an exposure
at such an early stage of their career. It was a thoroughly engaging
sessions, where students played games to understand implications of
gamification on various functions of HR.
