1What is DriveConfigurator?Introduction to DriveConfigurator

1 Introduction to DriveConfigurator

1.1 What is DriveConfigurator?

DriveConfigurator is the ideal online tool for reliable and fast selection of drive compo-nents.

DriveConfigurator is accessed from the DriveGate® customer portal.

With a few clicks, you can select the right drive for your application, with all the neces-

sary documentation and information, and add it to a shopping basket. You can send your

configured products directly to your sales contact as an inquiry, or you can save them

as a template in the DriveGate® customer portal.

1.2 How do customers benefit from DriveConfigurator?

The DriveConfigurator offers the following advantages:

• Simple and guided online configuration of drives

• Individual adaptation thanks to user options for CAD formats, search tolerances, and

region-specific measurement systems

• 3D preview of your configured product

• More efficiency thanks to storing existing inquiries as templates

• After completing the product selection, you can download all the documentation

available for your product (spare part lists, wiring diagrams, dimension sheets, CAD).

• Following online product inquiry, you will immediately receive a confirmation email

with all the technical data of the product as well as links to the matching documenta-

tion.• You can add your own texts to the inquiry (e.g.a customer material number or other

comments / special requests).

1.3 How to use DriveConfigurator?

1.3.1 Operating concept

The general process is described on the next page in a flowchart (page 5).

The individual steps (page 6) for each task and the relevant control elements are de-

scribed on the following pages:

• Product configurator – search (page 8)

• Navigation bar (page 9)

• Product result (page 13)

• Shopping basket (page 15)
