General Information
If you have received a new or replacement phone, please activate it first.
If your phone is active and can send and receive calls, then proceed to Installing MobileIron.
To avoid syncing conflicts, you must remove any previous WAXIE accounts from your phone
MobileIron will notify you if your device is not compliant with the security policies and configurations
The guide will configure the following items:
Signing into an iTunes account
MobileIron Mobile@Work Registration
4‐digit lock screen passcode
Configure Email Access
Remove your old WAXIE email account (if applicable)
Uninstall Restricted Applications (if applicable)
Physical Button Layout

Activating Your Phone If you have received a new or replacement phone, you must activate it before setting up your email. If your phone is already able to make and receive calls then please proceed to the next section.
1. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the iPhone on
2. Slide the arrow to the right, to unlock the device

3. Select English then select the arrow icon to continue
4. Select United States for your country then Next

5. Select Use Cellular Connection
6. It may take up to three minutes to activate your phone Note: If you have any trouble activating your phone, you may be required to plug the phone into your computer and activate through iTunes

Installing and Configuring MobileIron
1. Open Safari
2. Click the Go to this addressfield to enter a URL

9. Once the application has finished downloading, press Open
10. Click OK to allow Push Notifications from MobileIron

11. Enter your WAXIE Email Address without @waxie.com then Next
12. Enter mdm.waxie.com for the Server address then click Next

13. Enter the 6‐digit Registration PIN from the MIS email and select Register Note: If you do not have a Registration PIN, please contact [email protected]

21. Press the Home button to go back to the main screen, and open Mail
22. Enter your WAXIE password the OK

23. Press the Home Button againand you will be prompted to setup a passcode. Click Continue
24. Enter a 4‐Digit passcode then Continue WAXIE recommends that you use the last 4 digits of your cell phone number

Removing Previous WAXIE Accounts
1. Select the Mail icon from the Home Screen
2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars

3. Select the account you want to remove
4. Click Delete Account to remove the account from your phone

Uninstall Applications
Email will not function if restricted applications are detected. You must remove these apps to sync with WAXIE.
1. Hold your finger on the app you want to uninstall
2. Click the X in the top‐left corner of the app
