Standards are typically created within expert domains (ISO layer model).
Services are delivered by drawing on a multitude of standards across domains.
Better alignment between domains would reduce unintended ‘conflicts’ and assist convergence.
Taking a patient-centric service approach (eHealth services that can ‘follow’ the patient around Europe) will identify the touch points between domains and address localisation.
ServusPatient-centric service approach.Not a ‘new’ network. Purpose to augment existing networks by making the connections across domains, building on what works for patients.
