One of the requirements for VSU 1101is getting involved with our city and providing community service to the Valdosta area. How Service-Learning Affected Me:Service-learning provided a positive impact, because I love making a difference and volunteering my time to better my community.Service Projects I CompletedKappa Delta Shamrock: I participated in the flag football tournament that was put on for Kappa Deltas spring philanthropy event which is prevention of child abuse.

Elementary School Bookfair: I worked at the bookfair as a volunteer for a local elementary school.

Animal Shelter Volunteer: I took time out of my schedule to help take care of the animals that live at the shelter.
