I s tar ted working with Colt Engineer ing Corporat ion in Calgary, September 1977, r ight a f ter I graduated f rom SAIT as a process p iping draf t sman. From the fa l l o f 1977 to today, I have had the

pr iv i lege of be ing a par t of Colt’s h i s tor ica l t ransformat ion f rom a 20-man engineer ing team to one of the biggest engineer ing f i rms in the wor ld – WorleyParsons . I have rea l ly enjoyed my t ime at

WorleyParsons and I look forward to working here for many more years to come.kevin budd

Twenty years sounds l ike such a long t ime, but looking back, i t doesn’t seem that long at a l l . Therefore , measurement and

unders tanding of t ime i t se l f would appear to be direct ly propor t ional to the knowledge of i t s content . The more you know of i t s content ,

the shor ter the t ime span appears to be ; the le s s you know about the future , the longer the t ime span seems l ike i t ’s going to be . On

the other hand, i t could be as s imple as the more t ime you have exper ienced, the fas ter i t seems to come and go.
