Mayce Gleaton The Club at Risley

The club at Risley is proud to announce sixth grader Katie Pickering as Youth of the Month. Katie became a member of Boys and Girls Club during the summer along with her younger brother Kyle. Over the course of the summer and during the first two weeks of the school year Katie has exemplified many great qualities that we look for in a member. She always has a smile and a positive outlook, is studious and reads during her free time, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to staff and peers. Katie's favorite rotation is the Game Room, where she loves dancing on the Xbox Kinect Just Dance 2015. She is involved in many extra-curricular activities including playing trumpet in the orchestra and singing as an alto in chorus. Katie's favorite teacher is Mrs. Keri Dolan for social studies because of Mrs. Dolan's funny accents and humor. Congratulations to Katie for being Youth of the Month, and keep up the great work!
