Our latest custom home project features a

highly modern design plan that both ensures

the placement of the windows translates to

symmetrical exterior and exterior proportions

while maximizing natural light throughout the

home. Impressive features of this home include

a large open concept floor plan, large panel

rear sliding doors connecting graciously to the

seamlessly designed exterior entertainment

area, a master bedroom and ensuite featuring

walkouts to a second floor balcony, full height

stone walls in the stairwells, a highly functional

in-home office, a kitchen design that seamlessly

incorporates the flush-mount appliances into

high gloss panelling, and an oversized kitchen

island and breakfast bar.

This large scale renovation project will seek to turn an existing

1950’s war-time bungalow into timelessly finished English

cottage style home. Notable features of this home include a

cedar shake roof, rustic exterior stone, and rear kitchenette and

pool area featuring a limestone canopy that serves to provide two

architecturally significant faces for the home.

Modern Beach House

This modern beach house influenced home was

an existing traditional home in Markham that

underwent a large scale renovation and addition.

Our firm increased the ceiling height by raising the

second floor joists and raising the exterior walls on

the second floor. The result is a spacious and bright

home that incorporates floor to ceiling windows,

a full height great room, and all of the modern

amenities that a growing family needs to support

their lifestyle.

15 Sulkara

This traditional home in North York overlooks the

Charles Sauriol Conservation area. This luxury

custom home features vaulted ceilings, timeless

limestone cladding, a 13 ft eat-in kitchen island, a

walk-out terrace that hosts a double-sided fireplace,

a dog shower, a walkout basement, six washrooms,

radiant heated floors, and over 4250 square feet of

living space.

What was once a 1950’s bungalow located in the

prestigious Cliffside area of Toronto, has been turned

into over a 5,000 square foot contemporary getaway.

Throughout the design process meticulous attention was

paid to accentuating the views of the Scarborough Bluffs

and Lake Ontario from the living and dining areas, and

master bedroom area that features a walkout balcony.

High Park Restoration

This High Park home underwent a full

interior and exterior renovation including

a rear addition, third floor addition, and

the construction of a modern rear garage.

Amenities include a third floor rooftop deck,

clerestory window feature, traditional styling

throughout made apparent through the use of

gold accents, and re-integrated pocket doors

that are original to the home.

FrenchChateau

Our latest French Chateau style home features

contemporary inspirations while boastfully

incorporating a full stone front elevation and

limestone rear elevation backing onto the

Charles Sauriol raveen. The rear of this home

features a pool, walkout basement, two storey

deck, floor to ceiling windows, and numerous

interior luxuries that impose its unique

architectural style on anyone who enters. The

slate roof of this home will serve to cement its

timeless architectural value into the minds of

passers by for years to come.

This contemporary bungalow project entailed a full renovation and addition to a bungalow in Scarborough,

ON. Our clients required this design as they enter their golden years in order to support their lifestyle while

meeting their future needs. This project includes a wealth of space planning features centered around future

accessibility as well as the accommodation of their growing family. We achieved this through a separation of

space that supports spacious common areas while providing a high degree of privacy in the bedrooms. Exterior

features include a walkout basement, large rear windows, an open concept floor plan, full height foyer, and a

unique combination of stone and siding that upholds the contemporary style of this unique home.

Scandinavian Inspiration

This modern home features an off-set roof

peak, large contemporary windows, a mixture of

corrugated aluminum and hardie board paneling,

and an open concept floor plan. Numerous

skylights and opportunistically selective window

placement and sizing throughout the home

allow this structure to be flooded with light

despite its North facing orientation

This 1950’s Victorian Home located in Greektown

underwent structural modifications in order to provide

the owners with a much more functional open-concept

layout on the main floor and basement. New high-

efficiency mechanical systems were also retrofitted

into this home along with an interior waterproofing

system to protect their investment.

Modern Bungalow

This modern bungalow features a split level floor plan

to reduce the required amount of stair climbing as our

clients enter their retirement years. With that said, this

home by no means lacks the exciting modern amenities

that are expected from a structure of this stature

including a walkout basement, large panel windows

that retract to showcase the tree filled backyard, full

height ceilings throughout the home, hydronic in-floor

radiant heating, and a transitional interior that supports

the growing families of their children.

Transitional Home Renovation

This single family bungalow in North York underwent a second

storey addition in order to add additional living space for the

owner’s growing family. The interior planning was largely centred

around the efficient use of space and entertainment needs of

our clients, and is reflected in the inclusion of modern amenities

by providing a dual purpose to key areas.

The design of this contemporary home

expresses 21st century architectural trends

while also drawing influence from early

modernist and industrial architecture. Aluminum

composite panels, window louvers, and the

formed concrete exterior wall finish comfortably

coexist alongside a large multi-paned window

wall to provide the owners with a connection

to their scenic surroundings. Large accordion

window walls at the rear of the home also put

you in the heart of the action with direct views of

the surrounding ravine and conditioned outdoor

living space. Wood and copper accents are also

used to lend a sense of warmth and tactility to

the exterior.

LoftRenovation

A large-scale renovation of a custom home in

Woodbridge, ON. This home had many areas

that required revamping to increase functionality

and aesthetics, including a large storage space

on top of the garage. We had the opportunity

to significantly modify the existing structure of

this home in order to create vaulted ceilings and

incorporate solid-core rustic reclaimed wood

beams into the design.

This transitional Japanese inspired home

started off as a back split bungalow in the

Willowdale area. Our firm undertook a large

scale renovation and addition of this structure

in order to raise the main floor and second floor

ceiling heights, while taking advantage of our

opportunity re-organizing the interior space. The

result is a home that features all of the modern

amenities that a new custom build provides for

a price that is reflective of re-utilizing the existing

structure to the furthest extent possible.

Victorian Row House

A preliminary coloured render and floor plans of our latest project in the

historic Kensington Market area. This row-house will be underpinned to

create a basement height of 10ft, a third story addition and terrace, and

a floor layout that perfectly utilizes the narrow dimensions of the home.

Hydronic in-floor heating paired with automated lighting, heating and

A/C, cameras, and alarms will afford the owners of this luxury build a

high level of comfort in a unmatchable charming and historic area.

The largest challenge when completing a project of this nature is

maintaining the historic value of the area. We remedied this by fully

restoring the front face of the home to its original glory while transforming

the rear face and interior into a modern oasis using a master suite with

a modern clerestory addition and rooftop patio as the main architectural

feature.

Contemporary Bungalow

This contemporary bungalow project entailed a full

renovation and addition to a bungalow in Scarborough, ON.

Our clients required this design as they enter their golden

years in order to support their lifestyle while meeting their

future needs. This project includes a wealth of space

planning features centered around future accessibility as

well as the accommodation of their growing family. We

achieved this through a separation of space that supports

spacious common areas while providing a high degree

of privacy in the bedrooms. Exterior features include a

walkout basement, large rear windows, an open concept

floor plan, full height foyer, and a unique combination of

stone and siding that upholds the contemporary style of

this unique home.

This custom home, located in Georgetown, ON,

features a wealth of amenities that perfectly

support the homeowners busy and active lifestyle.

Walkout decks from the master en suite and second

floor bedroom hallway allow access to views of the

North Halton Golf Club along with the large panel

dining room windows.

The courtyard and guest house frame the backyard

and provide a discreet and hidden outdoor living

space that is perfect for entertaining. Throughout

the rest of the home, twelve foot ceilings and

hydronic in-floor heating provide a spacious and

luxurious entrance while maintaining a consistently

Modern Restoration

This East York Old Toronto home underwent

a full interior gut including the removal space

defining interior load-bearing partition walls

in order to create a functional open-concept

layout. Modern glass railing elements, exposed

brick, a walk-through kitchen, and floor to ceiling

foyer closet built ins that serve as a separation

for the dining room are among some of the key

features that have added functionality to this

space.

This home attempts to reconcile a set of

seemingly-contradictory design goals: openness

and privacy, connectivity between defined

spaces, and efficiency despite its large size. It

resulted in an innovative and unusual floor plan

that challenges dominant trends in modern

home design.

The home features several high-efficiency

mechanical systems including hydronic in-floor

heating, rooftop solar panels, heat reclamation,

grey water reclamation, rain water harvesting,

and high-performance insulation. The green

technologies used will allow for the sustainable

operation of the home and offset the material

costs over time.

Modern Home By The Water

This lakeside home employs a modern version of

the prairie style, featuring strong horizontal lines

that run parallel to the water’s surface and link the

architecture to the surroundings. The tall central

portion of the home employs vertical elements in

order to appear more dramatic and monumental,

even though the south side of the home is only

one-and-a-half stories tall.

The property slopes gently towards the water,

so the rear walls rise a full two stories above the

terraced backyard, with more steps down toward

the water. In addition to the ample indoor living

space, the home features a sprawling terrace,

with outdoor living and dining areas as well as

an ornamental pond. A short flight to stairs leads

down to the beach.

The two-storey custom home brings an aging suburb

in Etobicoke a breath of new life. Instead of following a

traditional stream of design, the home carves it’s own path

as a defining example of modern architecture.

A number of features on both the interior and exterior serve

to connect nature in every space of the home including a

pond running beneath the front entrance walkway as well

as a staircase wrapped around the atrium garden that is

enclosed in floor to ceiling glass panels.
