for independent seniors. Its smaller size promotes a more intimate setting, a personable staff and service-oriented environment. Even with its smaller size,  Pacific  Place  offers  important services found in most retirement communities – transportation, housecleaning, building security, emergency call service, planned events and more. Residents have several options for dining, including an optional meal plan at reduced prices at its restaurant, Big Sky Café.

Its location also provides nearby opportunities for shopping, dining, entertainment, banking and cultural experiences.

• Provision Living, 140 E. Lockwood Ave., opened its doors in July 2012. The $10.8 million, 90,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community has 80 units – 62 residential care community units and 18 assisted living memory care units. Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are also available. Provision Living is unlike some retirement communities in that its apartments are rentals.

Its assisted living and memory care community offers quality programs, services, on-site therapy, and state-of-the-art amenities.

In the heart of Webster Groves it is within walking distance to restau-rants, shopping, banking and activ-ities. On site, a bistro provides a ca-fe-like setting as an alternative to the main dining room.

• The Rockwood, 330 W. Lockwood Ave., is for active adults age 62 and older. Located in the heart

of Historic Old Webster, it’s within walking distance of restaurants, shops, banks and a grocery store.

The Rockwood has 29 one- and two-bedroom apartments with a variety of floor  plans,  and  it  provides  services and individualized care to each of its residents. With its small size, residents get to know their neighbors and the staff members on a personal level. The Rockwood also caters to residents when it comes to food, offering dining experiences as varied as each individual’s tastes. A tea room,  outdoor  garden,  fitness  area, on-site and underground parking are a few of the amenities.
