Senior Acoustic Specialist The Role We are looking for a Senior Acoustic Specialist to join our Environmental Assessments team in Newcastle. As an experienced acoustic professional, you will conduct a range of acoustic activities, be responsible for driving growth in Environmental Acoustics and support multidisciplinary projects within heavy industry, agriculture, transport and construction. If you are looking for career progression, this position will allow you to become a Technical Leader within the business. Reporting to the Lead Environmental Scientist, the key responsibilities of this role include: Effectively scoping projects, and assisting customers understand requirements with regards to acoustic impact assessment Technical review of reports, acoustic modelling and fee proposals Undertaking noise and vibration impact assessments for a range of industries Design of noise and vibration mitigation treatments and preparation of management plans Management of projects and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Mentoring and coaching other staff members Qualifications and Requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally in Acoustic Engineering, with at least 5 years’ relevant industry experience in environmental acoustic assessment Business development acumen with the ability to maintain existing client relationships and create opportunities for growth Technical competency with recent experience in acoustic modelling and acoustic assessments across a range of sectors and project scales Good organisational skills and a demonstrated history of successful project management A passion for innovative solutions and service excellence Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and a desire to provide mentoring and coaching to other staff members Previous experience or a willingness to engage with other technical streams including Air Quality Impact Assessment or Water Management would be highly regarded To find out more about us: advitechgroup.com.au/working-here/ For more information, call Dr Rod Bennison on 02 4924 5400 Submit your application to [email protected] • Innovative leader in acoustic solutions • Successful business with enviable culture • Opportunity for leadership role Why Advitech? The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Acoustic Specialist to join our Environmental Assessments team in Newcastle.
