SEMESTER 2
Integral elements: While overviewing my semes-ters work i have realised that i need to change my approach to research. Do not go out looking for the exact same thing, just look at current trends in design to see if any of them motivate me rather than try and find the answer. Doing this would give me a broader view to each brief and not be so desperate to get stuck in.
Success: I believe that my strengths are withing branding and editorial. I think these are where my suc-cesses are because i enjoy these type of briefs the most which makes me more determind to spend time on getting my best out of each brief.
Personality: I am interested in branding and editorial and i think that my clean cut, white space approach is modern and works well within my main interests. In the future i would like two work within these two types of design as i think that is where i will excel.

Design a logo for a soccer coaching company, it was to be apealing to children but not be tacky. Target audience 5 - 12yo.
To creat my own typeface that represents a quote of my choice. Difficulties such as trying to transport the fragile piece. Target audience is typographers.
Design an editorial version of my dissertation. trying to fit all body copy in and feel comfortable. Target audience, black culture, hip hop enthusiasts.
Design a logo for a recruitment company based in Carlisle, i had to create something that would appeal to a wide range of people.
Design a logo for a fitness company that coaches people through their own fitness levels. It found it hard to balance the deign with FHL and Excel both ending in the letter ‘L’. Target audience, fitness and health
Make an editorial booklet on the changes of a thriving industry that put my town on the map. Using old images that were not mine and having to change them. Target audience, people from inverclyde, history and shipyard lovers.
