See / hear someone / something + -ing

Nakon glagoli cula (see, hear, smell, feel, notice) koristimo +ing obrazac/strukturu

1. I saw the man. He was running. ->

I saw the man running.

2. I can smell something. It is burning. ->

I can smell something burning.

3. I felt something. Sun was shining on my face. ->

I felt sun shining on my face.

Feelings:

1. ANGRY- having strong feelings about something that you dislike very much or about an unfair situation;

*we say: TO MAKE SOMEONE ANGRY

2. ANNOYED- a bit angry or nervous about something, irritated;

*we say: annoyed (with somebody) or (at/about something)

3. ANXIOUS- feeling worried or nervous;

*we say: anxious about something BUT for someone

4. BORED- feeling tired because you have lost interest in somebody/something or because you have nothing to do;

*extremely bored – BORED TO DEATH or BORED TO TEARS)

5. DELIGHTED- very happy and pleased about something

6. DEPRESSED- very sad;

*we say: depressed about something

7. EXCITED – very happy but also nervous or upset and unable to relax

8. FURIOUS- very angry

9. SCARED- we say scared of something

10. UPSET-worried, not relaxed, a bit nervous (we say: upset somebody/yourself)

*upset your stomach - to make somebody feel sick after they have eaten or drunk something
