The Rear Transverse Brake Pipes, part numbers C.15556 RH and C.15557 LH, f itted to the above cars can no longer be supplied and any orders for these items will be met with Brake Pipes part numbers C.24253 RH and C.24254 LH as fitted to late~ models.

As the new Pipes are approximately 3" longer than t he originals it will be necessary to make s~llow bends in the pipe whe~e it lies along the Axle TUbes. Care must be taken to ensure that the pip,e does not chafe against any other part, and extra clips may be required to affix Pipe to Axle Tube. Clips are available and must be ordered separately to part nu ber C.786o.
