Secret 1: Sleep On A Silk Pillow Case

A silk pillow case is the perfect way to wake up with better looking hair and skin. Since it's so much smoother than cotton, friction is greatly reduced. It also feels SO luxurious.

A good alternative (especially for those concerned about those innocent silk worms) is a satin pillow case. It's still smooth and friction free, but doesn't put any animals in harm. Bonus: It's also much cheaper than silk pillowcases!

Secret 2: Use Shimmer Powder On The Front & Back Of Your Legs

Doing so on the sides makes them look chunkier. Smoothing shimmer powder or cream on the front and back of your legs is a subtle and glamorous way of contouring.

Secret 3: Use highlighting cream to make an upside-down triangle under your eyes. This simultaneously makes undereye circles or bags look better and contours your face for better looking cheeks and more depth.

Secret 4: Nude Looking Makeup Rules

Most of the time, models are either wearing dramatic makeup or really natural looking makeup. Very rarely do they do an in between. Their makeup never looks slutty, it looks sultry. Being real women, it's easier for us to take cues from their natural make up looks.

How to do it? Beef up lashes with multiple coats of mascara and use a lash comb to separate them, keep colors on eyelids neutral to look like your eyes are naturally gorgeous. The big lashes make a world of difference, without looking dirty or like you're trying too hard as dark eye makeup all over lids can sometimes do.

Use lip liner in a nude or similar shade on the outer portions of your lips but blend slightly inwards so that it fades away, leaving no harsh lines. Apply something to

moisturize, like lip balm over it. This instantly makes lips look plumper, but leaves your mouth looking like you're not wearing anything at all.

Make skin look flawless with foundations that look lightweight, rather than chalky foundations that don't match your skin. Use blush and/or bronzer without a ton of sparkles. Some shimmer is okay, but obvious sparkles don't look natural at all.

It's all about illusions this puts the focus on your enhanced beauty, not your makeup.

Secret 5:Dark Armpits Drag Your Sex Appeal Down

Ever see a model with ugly armpits? Probably NOT!

Use a bleaching cream if you, like most women (including models), don't have perfectly pigmented armpits. It takes just a minute or two a day and can leave you feeling more confident about more of yourself.

Also do your knees and elbows if you think they need it. These little details make a big difference in photographs and videos of yourself.

Secret 6: Perfect Lips Are Easy

Smooth, pouty, pretty lips take just a minute a day to obtain. Many models mix a bit of sugar with either chapstick, petroleum jelly or olive oil to scrub their lips.

This basically moisturizes and exfoliates.

An easier alternative (for those of you who think sugar in your bathroom might be a recipe for spills and roaches) might be to simply keep a small bottle of oil (Vitamin E oil, Castor oil, Jojoba oil, Coconut oil pretty much any plant based oil will do) in your medicine cabinet, smooth it on your lips after brushing your teeth and use a toothbrush to gently rub and exfoliate. Quick, easy, and effective.

As a plus, the small bottle of oil you keep in your medicine cabinet makes for a natural makeup remover and moisturizer.

Secret 8: Cheap Salts For Perfect Skin

Epsom salts can be found pretty much anywhere. Check your local superstore, grocery store, hell, maybe even the gas station convenience store. They all have it and it's cheap.

Epsom salts can be used a number of way, but for beautifying, your best bets are:

adding a spoonful to your shampoo once a week to detox your hair soaking in a tub of epsom salts to draw impurities out of your skin, leaving

your soft and glowing

mix a spoonful of epsom salts with liquid cleanser to exfoliate and your face, leaving it smoother than a baby's butt

Secret 9: Force Your Skin Care Products To Sink In

Using a primer over your skin care products at night essentially traps the product under the primer, making much more of it sink into your skin, where it's really needed!

Grab yourself a light pink pencil. Some options are Benefit's Eye Bright, Urban Decay's Shadow Pencil in Sin, or Anastasia's Brow Highlighter.

Use this pencil on the inner corners of your eyes, under the outer corners of eyes, and under your brow bone. Smooth it on and blend slightly. Takes about a minute and makes a huge difference! Eyes appear instantly bigger and your face brighter.

You can also use it on your lower waterline to brighten eyes even more, or as an alternative to concealer if the color happens to work with your particular complexion.

Secret 11: Add Something Special To Your Bathwater

For the environment's sake, please don't take baths every night.

When you do, make it really count by adding something special to your bathwater. Choose one (or more) of the following to add to your bathwater, to make your skin ridiculously beautiful and soft:

Secret 12: Beer As A Conditioner

A new use for your boyfriend's beer! Pour some through your hair after washing, and after it dries you'll have some of the softest hair you've ever felt.

Any cheap old beer will do. Next time you have a get together and your place, stash the leftovers in your refrigerator so you can use them on your hair.

Hint: Your hair will, unfortunately, smell like beer, but this only lasts as long as your hair is wet. Once your hair dries, the smell will be undetectable, and you can use whatever perfume or scented styling products you want on it.

Secret 13: Prenatal Vitamins Are Hair, Skin & Nail Vitamins

An easy way to make sure you're getting enough of the vitamins and minerals you need is to take a multi-vitamin. Prenatal vitamins may be even better.

Models and celebs like to take the stuff even when they're not prego, because of how it keeps hair and nails extremely strong (and therefore allowing them to grow longer without damage) and skin looking awesome. There are health benefits, too of course, but the effect it has on your looks may be most exciting of all!

Secret 14: Pure Oils Work Wonders

For gorgeous, shiny hair and soft skin, a regular old bottle of olive oil works wonders. Coconut oil is just as good, and smells better, so the choice is up to you.

Look for extra virgin varieties of these oils, and use them to deep condition your hair, leaving it on for a few minutes before shampooing (beats out any deep conditioner or hair mask on the market) and moisturize your skin. You know there



are no other chemicals which may interfere with it's effectiveness or your health. The end result is gorgeous hair and soft skin, and it's much more affordable than most other effective options.

Secret 15: Tricks For Long Lasting Makeup

What model or makeup artists wants to spend their time doing constant touch-ups? That's right none of them! And you probably don't want to either!

To make your makeup last as long as possible:

Use a primer. The silicones in primers make makeup stick and keep oil (that washes makeup away) at bay
