Individual Effort

• Practice the 3R-Reduce, Reuse, Recycle• Use reusable or recyclable products

transport. Car pool if possible

National Effort

• Implement laws or restriction to limit the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by power stations, factories and vehicles

• Invest money to help develop skills and technology for renewable energy like solar and wind energy

• Promote energy saving scheme so that people can buy energy saving products

• Encourage manufacturers to recycle

International Effort

• 150 countries participated in the Kyoto Protocol in 1997 which aims to reduce global warming

• The countries were expected to exhibit concentrated effort to reduce 5% greenhouse gas.

• USA and Australia opposed because their industries relies on greenhouse gases
