SCOTIABANK HOSTS SMALL BUSINESS WEEK 2012 Scotiabank (Bahamas) Ltd. designated last week as Small Business Week under the theme, “Celebrating Small Business”. During the week, Scotiabank hosted a series of events in New Providence and Grand Bahama aimed at assisting small business owners with managing and developing their businesses and to recognize the invaluable contributions of small business owners to the Bahamian economy. Speaking at the Small Business Week’s official opening, Scotiabank’s Managing Director, Kevin Teslyk said, “We at Scotiabank are devoted to bolstering The Bahamas’ entrepreneurs, by offering pertinent business advice and services to help them establish and expand their small businesses. Scotiabank’s small business banking services include tools to help entrepreneurs develop their business plans and manage their cash flow. We provide the solutions to help business leaders realize their passion. SMALL BUSINESS WEEK 2012 IN REVIEW Scotiabank Sponsors Rotaract Club’s Panel on Entrepreneurship: During its Small Business Week, Scotiabank also partnered with the Rotaract Club of East Nassau to host a panel discussion on Entrepreneurship in The Bahamas supporting the Club’s efforts to share success stories on what it takes to succeed in business. Scotiabank (Bahamas) Ltd. designated last week as Small Business Week under the theme, “Celebrating Small Business”. During the week, Scotiabank hosted a series of events in New Providence and Grand Bahama aimed at assisting small business owners with managing and developing their businesses and to recognize the invaluable contributions of small business owners to the Bahamian economy.
