5. start again, with the second lowest black key (C#), and repeating the same process, play every 4th note until the end of the board.

6. repeat step four with the third lowest (D#) and then the fourth (F#).

you are now forming four, perfect pillars of sound.

8. with pedal still held, play the middle key of the piano (E) six times until the dissonance blurs into a solitary pitch.

9. in contrary motion starting from E, use both hands to play every fourth key in opposite directions.

10. once hands are at both ends of the piano, play backwards until it finally comes to rest, again, at E.
