The Primary Arms Optics Advanced Combined Sighting System (ACSS®) reticles are simply the most advanced reticles in the world. Standing on the shoulders of proven reticle technologies of the past, ACSS combines the most useful reticle concepts into one easy to use system that is fast, instinctive, and easy to learn.

• The Horseshoe/Chevron Center: Unlike a crosshair which obscures the target at its intersection or a dot which covers the target, many ACSS reticles feature a chevron aiming point. The chevron creates an infinitely small point of aim while allowing the shooter to see the desired impact area. A thick horseshoe surrounding the center aiming point provides a quick aiming reference for close quarters “snap shooting” in a hurry. • Bullet Drop Compensation: ACSS bullet drop compensation allows shooters to reach out to extended ranges depending on caliber and application. In some reticles the BDC allows accurate engagement all the way to 1000 yards without counting clicks on a turret.

• Wind Holds: Precision shooters say, “amateurs talk about bullet drop, professionals talk about wind calls.” Many ACSS reticles include wind hold dots alongside the BDC, making accurate shots possible in windy conditions. There is no need to manually adjust the scope, or perform any calculations.

• Moving Target Leads: Movers are the most challenging targets a hunter or competitive shooter may encounter. When faced with a moving target, some shooters will give up on the shot, and others will “Kentucky windage” their best guess and take an uncertain shot. Many ACSS reticles feature simple moving target leads optimized for targets moving across the shooter’s field of view at distances of 100-300 yards. ACSS HUD DMR reticles extend this capability out to 600 yards for targets moving at a variety of speeds.

• Automatic Range Estimation: Wrong range estimation is the number one reason that distant targets are missed out in the field. ACSS auto-ranging reticles can vertically range targets in moments, providing vital information that the shooter can easily translate to the reticle’s bullet drop compensation feature. Horizontal auto-ranging is built right into the BDC resulting in a range-and-engage system of unparalleled speed and accuracy.

Small, light, and tough, the new Advanced Micro Dot takes everything we’ve learned from previous red dots and refines it a step further. MD-RB-AD features an estimated 50,000 hours of battery life from the included CR2032 battery, powering an ultra-sharp 2 MOA dot. Fully multi-coated lenses and an ultra-low profile emitter ensure a clean sight picture with minimal lens tint. Eleven brightness settings are controlled by the rotary knob on the right side. The first two settings are compatible with night vision optics and cannot be seen by the naked eye. The brightest settings are daylight bright. The illumination knob physically stops at “0” with the red dot turned off.

ADVANCED MICRORED DOTS

1X COMPACT PRISM SCOPESA 1x prism scope offers an advantage over traditional red dots for many shooters and in certain situations. This tough, yet very compact optic features an etched ACSS reticle that can be illuminated all the way up to daylight bright, yet is still useable with illumination turned off. The 1x Prism Scope features a removable base compatible with industry standard micro dot mounts. Fast at 1x, precise at 6x, the FFP de-sign allows shooters to use the advanced features of the ACSS reticle at multiple zoom levels for the first time. The 3x and 5x prism scopes are improved for 2018! The MIL-STD-1913 top accessory rails are now user removable. Install the rail to mount a back-up reflex sight or bubble level on the prism scope, or remove the rail to save weight and space. All models now feature a removable spacer designed into the bottom MIL-STD-1913 mount. With the spacer installed, the optic is located at the same height as previous generations. Use the spacer on rifles with straight line stocks like AR-15s. Remove the spacer to lower the sight for use on AK-47s, or to mount directly to an AR-15 carry handle.
