that serves moderately priced food in a casual atmosphere. Except
for buffet-style restaurants, casual dining restaurants typically
provide table service. Casual dining comprises a market segment
between fast food establishments and fine dining restaurants. This
will also exclude ihaw- ihaw or grill restaurants, franchised
restaurants, restaurants located in a hotel, mall, or establishment
and is unique and only found in General Santos City. The casual
dining restaurants referred in this study are those with seating
capacity 20 to 50 and is considered to be a small or medium
business.
