If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the activity for you !
You can do many experiments with things you have at home.
How the program works...
This is a voluntary assignment. (Participate only if you want to.)
Each week one student will be the scientist of the week.
That student will conduct an experiment in front of the class on Thursday afternoon.
If you choose to participate, your parents or your teacher can help you choose the experiment that you do.
You will practice the experiment at home before you present it to the class.
It’s fun to experiment with magnets !

Scientists ask lots of questions- just like Curious George !
Scientists use their eyes to look, their ears to listen, and their noses to smell. Sometimes they even touch and taste, too !

Safety first ! Follow all directions carefully and have an adult help you.

Good scientists...
...like to learn new things.
...ask “Why?”
...look and listen carefully.
...take their time and don’t hurry.
