From the offset, we choose only hand-picked, weather proof wood. We produce our seating furniture with FsC certified wood obtained from sustainable and responsible forests. in many cases, we add a further protection with a high quality lacquer before exposing them to the various elements of the four seasons and the everyday wear and tear to ensure a longer life. often an environmentally friendly water-based lacquer is used. our innovative concepts and meticulous manu-facturing ensure that we make the best use of the wood.

ROBUSTaeSTheTicS FOR eTeRniTy
All cast iron elements used by schréder and urbis are given a multi-coated finish by an elaborate procedure. After thorough cleans-ing and sandblasting, the steel is coated with a thermally injected zinc layer and a protective polyester skin.
For products made of steel like our MilleniuM furniture range, we can upon request, use extremely hard 316l stainless steel – the same material used to make luxury watches and surgical tools.

MiLLeniUM
MilleniuM defines the character of tomorrow’s urban furniture today. The cylinder is the basic shape which inspired the design of the MilleniuM range. The curved lines of the benches highlight the basic shape. High-grade, brushed 316l steel gives the range a clear identity with a futuristic aesthetic design and extreme robustness. Alterna-tively, the complete range is available in steel that can be painted in the same colour as the luminaires.
The MilleniuM urban furniture range and Modullum luminaires perfectly coordinate to enhance city centres as well as airports and train stations.

The MilleniuM bench without back may look delicate but it is just the opposite: it has an exceptionally large seating area that provides room for up to three people on each side – a total of six seats.
The MilleniuM bollard consistently fol-lows the principle of the basic cylindrical form of the furniture line. The pure design is accentuated on each side by three deco-rative grooves.
The MilleniuM bench with a back which is made from round perforated stainless steel or steel with a thermally injected zinc layer and powder coating, appears to hover in space. The elegant flowing con-tour from the front of the bench to the top of the back, invites you to relax and enjoy.

The easy to clean MilleniuM ashtray has a capacity of almost 2 litres. its intelligent design enables it to be cleaned easily with-out any direct contact with the waste inside.
The MilleniuM bicycle stands have an extravagant look yet the shape is designed to be functional. it incorporates two welded covers that act as a stop for one front wheel each. The curved bar supports the bicycle and provides the option of locking it up.
The MilleniuM wall luminaire is available in two different sizes for mounting on walls and facades. The wall luminaire is equipped with led technology for the highest efficiency and long lifetime. The body and arm are made of robust, durable and recyclable materials. The fixture is easy to install and maintain.

The MilleniuM illuminated bollard is ideal for marking paths. it has a pure appearance during the day while at night its trend-setting led technology provides helpful orientation.
The cylindrical basic shape can be sup-plemented with conical ground units, if necessary because of the diameter of the trunk. Combinable with other tree protection products, e.g. various tree guard grates or underfloor tree grates for system solutions.
A round grille – or a square one. Tree guard grilles matching the basic shape of the tree guard lattice are available in various shapes and sizes. For 1.5 or 5 ton wheel load. Available in 2 sizes: 150 and 200cm.

The Calla led luminaire is completely different from other post-top luminaires. The flower with the same name provided the inspiration for the AMAryllis design and shaped the different elements of this range – bench and backed bench, signpost and bollard. The base frame of the AMAryllis backed bench follows the floral theme and con-tinues it across the damage-proof, soft contour of the frame’s design. The seating area is completely embedded and thereby effectively protected from mechanical stress like impacts.
Thanks to its similar shape, the barrier perfectly complements the AMAryllis bollard. The barrier is also composed of aluminium covered with a protective polymer coating and a stable core made of steel.
The AMAryllis bench has the same shape as the backed bench, but without the backrest. The round edges protect from injury and the slightly arched ergo-nomic seating area is an indulgence of great comfort.
The floral theme is equally reflected in the bollard. The interior is composed of steel while the exterior surface with a protective polymer coating features decorative longitudinal notches.

innovative and unique: the AMAryllis litter bin was developed to resist vandalism and corrosion. it is fastened to a concrete base. Both of its half-shells and its hinges are made of aluminium. A brace makes access to the polypropylene inner basket more convenient. Thanks to the bin’s coni-cal shape the garbage bag can be easily replaced.

The ForuM litter bin is designed to be durable both in shape and function.The resilient steel body is furnished with a pattern of decorative perforations for ventilation purposes. The cover can be locked and thereby be protected from vandalism.
The ForuM bollard is a mini version of the rivara luminaire. identical in shape, its linear and cubic design with consistent right angles is an eye-catching feature for all landscapes.

There is nothing superfluous about the ForuM bicycle stand. its square steel and two legs are extremely robust. They are mounted on a panel measuring 100x100x10mm. The solid impression of the construction is balanced out by the lightness of the top.

Good design is as little design as possible. one look at the liGnuM and you understand that the simplest shapes often serve certain functions best. The liGnuM bench and backed bench are archetypes of these two pieces of seating furniture. The seating areas and back-rests, made of massive hardwood, radiate superior solidity and security and invite you to sit and lean back. The liGnuM litter bin and bollard have a robust appearance as well – they are made of steel, painted in the colour of the luminaires, and are polyester coated.

The liGnuM is a modern classic. particu-larly striking: the backrest is narrower than the seating area. This visual contrast makes the bench a real eye-catcher. its robust appearance suggests a high degree of solidity and stability.
The liGnuM litter bin consistently follows the look of the liGnuM benches. With a large capacity of 70 litres, this litter bin ensures longer periods between emptying. The integrated ashtray can be locked and is only accessible when emptying, which guarantees extra security and hygiene.
