Why should we …Because of the kids; the very reason you decided to become an educator (hopefully). It can be easy to succumb to cynicism after many years of teaching ‘bad’ kids, but you just can’t. Don’t be one more person I know, easier said than done, right? As educators, we all have a lot on our plates. But the fact is that we, as a society cannot afford (both fiscally and culturally) to keep doing what we are doing.
