Students interested in expanding

their art talent beyond the

classroom.

AQUANAUTSMR. WEX

Our motto is “Ad amorem et tueri

oceanus,” to love and protect the

ocean. We are an organization that

believes in conservation through

education and action. We are

passionate about the sea and the life

within it. Aquanauts began as an

extension of Oceanic Science class,

but gladly welcome all grades.

The Auto Club promotes and helps

prepare students interested in many

facets of the automobile industry.

AZTECA CLUBMS. RUIZ

Azteca Club is open to all students

interested in Mexican culture who

wish to participate in cultural

activities that promote cultural pride

and increase community awareness

and acceptance.

CHESS CLUBMR. FELSTINER

Chess Club is open to all students,

regardless of skill level. Whether you

are a skilled player who wants to

sharpen your skills and test them at

competitions, or you just enjoy

playing the game and don’t wish to

compete, or you’re a beginner who

wants to learn how to play the game,

we welcome you.

The Drama Club is the place for all

students to come together and

create! It is also where auditions,

rehearsals and virtual performances

will occur.

FFAMRS. SMITH

FFA promotes and prepares

students to be involved in agro

science, farming and nursery

production.

GREEN CLUBMR. MAGEE

Green club is a group that explores

and promotes sustainability at SHS

and in the greater community.

Activities include service projects,

field trips, hiking trips, and learning

about our impact on the world.

GSA (Gender and Sexuality Alliance) is an all inclusive club with a focus on Advocacy, Education, Uplifting, and Community for LGBTQA++ humans. We plan events, watch movies, play games, and talk about what is going on in the world and our lives.

HOSA(Future Health Professionals)

MS. CARTER

The HOSA(Future Health Professionals) helps prepare students interested in the healthcare field. Students participate in leadership activities, skill trainings, community service, attend statewide conferences and competitions. You’ll make new friends and narrow your career interest. Participation is available grades 9-12! Membership registration begins the first week of school in the Fall!

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC CLUB

This club celebrated the fun and

varied world of making music with

instruments. Our aim is to bring

together people of all skill levels and

styles, and have fun sharing our

knowledge, skills and experiences.

KEY CLUBMS. FINNEGANMS. CALLAWAY

Key club is an international organization that is student led. It provides members with opportunities to serve their community through volunteering while building character, developing leadership skills, and making friends.

LITERARY SOCIETY

Students interested in sharing love

and knowledge of books and

literature are welcome to join.

Primary activities include book club

meetings and participation in the

Oregon Battle of the Books.

METALS CLUBMR. PANULA

This club is designed for students who want to participate in the annual “Clackamas Regional Skills Competition” at Clackamas Community College. The before school club provides students extra time to prepare for events in welding and machining. Students who place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in competitions are awarded with tuition vouchers (scholarships) at Clackamas Community College! Awesome! :)

MOCK TRIAL CLUB

Mock Trials provide students with

knowledge of the judicial system,

legal process, and courtroom

procedures.

This clubs will compete in Mock Trial

competition.

NATIONAL HONOR

SOCIETYMS. GREWE

This is open to juniors and seniors

with at least a 3.5 GPA.

Applications are sent to qualifying

students each fall.

Spanish Club is an opportunity for

Spanish learners of all levels to hone

their language skills through games

and activities. Members will get to

help create and organize cultural and

linguistic immersion events for

students at Sandy High School.

Speech and Debate is an OSAA Activity that competes in tournaments throughout the year. We give students the opportunity to speak on topics that they feel are important. It is a chance for you to have a voice and be heard.
