    Brief History: Sekolah Rendah Sultan Abdul Bubin, Sungai Besar was established in 1959. Sekolah Rendah Sultan Abdul Mubin Sungai Besar was built by the residents of Kampong Sungai Besar, led by Yang Mulia Tuan Haji Ibrahim bin Puteh and fully operated on 10 September 1959. The school was approximately 60 feet long, 30 feet wide and 10 feet high. Stilts and foundation of the school was made from Bulian wood, walls were made of palm leaves and ground flooring, stands on the site of land belong to the head of the village itself and is located not far from the present road. The crowd of students at that time was a total of 32 students, aged between 5 years to 16 years .The first headmaster was the late Cikgu Md Yusof bin Gumbol . The new construction of Sekolah Rendah Sultan Abdul Bubin started in 1966 and was fully used in 1967. Yang Amat Mulia Pg Setia Negara Pg Hj Md Yusof bin Pg Hj Abdul Rahim as guest of honor was given the honor of opening the school on June 30, 1968. At that time the headmaster was the late Cikgu Md. Din bin Pengarah Haji Untong. The new school The school name was taken from the name of the 13th Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Abdul Mubin. In 1979, additional building of akon types was built and was fully used in January 1980. The building has six classrooms and 1 staff room. In 1985, a building for toilets was constructed. While the school kitchen was built in 1986. After that in 1987 the school canteen was built. The school required more classrooms to accommodate the shortage, then a temporary building which has 3 rooms, was established in 1984.
