Mr. Joshua Walker has accepted our call to be our principal for the 2018-

2019 school year.

Love and Logic Presentation Love and Logic is parenting made FUN! Please join us

on Tuesday, April 17th from 6-7:30pm for a special presentation

on using love and logic to parent our children. The presentation

will take place at Good Shepherd's Lutheran School There is no

fee to attend this special night but we do request that you RSVP

to Good Shepherd's school office by April 16th, if you plan on at-

tending. You may RSVP by calling our office 414-774-8520 or via

Yearbook Order Envelopes The Yearbook order envelopes came home this week with you

children. The cost of the Yearbook will be $12.00 this year and

the order envelopes are due by April 20, 2018

Book Orders The last book order of the school year for

grades 3-8 is out now. (Another teacher

may be ordering later if you need some-

thing.) The orders are due Monday, April

16. Order forms are out in the lobby, but you don't need one. It

can be done online using code DXMG6. Please direct any ques-

tions to Mrs. Johnson. Happy summer reading!!

2018 Summer Care Information

St. Jacobi will be offering summer care for 2018. Please click here to view the

program. If you are interested in registering your child(ren), please click here for

a registration form. The cost for the program is $20/half day (5 hours or less),

and $40/full day (more than 5 hours). There is a 25% discount for the 2nd child

and the 3rd and 4th child is free. There is a registration fee that should

come in at the same time as the form into the office.

5th-8th Grade Presentation on Bullying and Cyberbullying

(Dr. Casey Holtz) On Thursday, at 2:15 PM, Dr. Casey Holtz, will be talking to our 5th-8th graders on bullying and

cyberbullying. Dr. Holtz is a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran Synod and is a licensed child psy-

chologist. If there are any parents that would like to attend, you are more the welcome to join us.

The presentation will take place in our gymnasium and should last until the end of the day.

St. Jacobi Fine Arts Fair

Thursday, May 3, 2018

6:00-8:00 PM

On Thursday, May 3rd, St. Jacobi will hold its first Fine Arts Fair. This night will consist of art being on display

in the classrooms, poetry being on display in the hallways, musicians performing in the lobby, and choirs/

bands performing in the gymnasium. People can come and go as they please. The performance times for the

gymnasium are listed below. Concerts will take approximately 15 minutes.

Also, the 4th grade classroom will have their annual Lemonade War on this night. Fourth graders will have

their businesses set up in the Multi-Purpose room to try to sell products from their business ideas. The money

for these sales goes toward the 4th Quarter Mission Project to help the people of Zambia!
