participated in a variety of sports and craft activities including laser tag, beach volleyball, cupcake wars, megasports and much more. We
made some great memories over this time and want to thank all participants on their great behaviors and enthusiasm! We look forward to
seeing you in our upcoming Term 3 Programs and future Holiday Programs.

changed and Ben started work at the Leisureplex in June.

Congratulations Social Sport Teams
Our Term 2 seasons concluded just prior to school holidays with fiercely contested Grand Finals in Netball and Mixed Futsal.
The Pilbara Princesses were victorious over Kickers, 39—34. In what may have seemed like a close game, the Pilbara Princesses were still able to
showboat for the paparazzi, when the photographer came past.
In the Mixed Futsal, Lvl 18 Paladin completed the season undefeated by beating Ball Rash, 7—5 in the final.
New seasons commence Tuesday 26th July for both competitions, running for 8 weeks.
If you’d like to nominate a team for next term, please see the customer services officers at reception or visit the Karratha Leisureplex website:

What’s going on at the
Tambrey Oval?
Construction of the Tambrey Pavilion at the
Tambrey Oval is coming along nicely with the
roofing, lining and pathway works well
underway.
Once complete the facility will provide an
excellent sporting hub for Karratha’s western
suburbs with change rooms, a community hall
and umpire rooms for local sports teams and
community groups.
Construction is set to be complete in early
October 2016.
Splash Pad Update:
Oh , La, La! The Splash Pad is half-way through it’s NEW
facelift and is looking fantastic!
So far the existing soft concrete top-coat has been removed.
A new cinnamon coloured surface has been poured and is
being left to cure for a few weeks.
The Splash features are also receiving a new coat of paint and
should be completed shortly .
Once the surface has set, Pindan will begin the process of
re-securing and finalizing the reconnection of the Splash
features.
The reopening isn't too far away, so rest assured kids you can
expect the same Splash Pad this Summer!!
