Welcome!These school-holidays we are offering some great workshops to suit children from ages 4+. All workshops will take place in our studio at 6 Taylor Avenue Golden Beach. Class sizes are kept small so make sure you book in early and don’t miss out.

Please note the following:

• Bookings are essential! - please contact us by email or phone to arrange a place in a class. (ph. 0411 790 211 e:[email protected] )

• An enrolment form needs to be completed to attend the class.

• Pre-payment is preferred - details for paying by direct deposit are on the enrolment form. Yes, you can pay by cash on the day - but please do not book a place unless you are sure you can attend!

• Children need to wear suitable clothing for doing art - art smocks are available, but often children manage to get paint on their clothes somewhere!

• Please bring a drink-bottle and snack for your child to have during class (no nut products!)

• It is normal for children to be dropped off and left for the workshop - but if a parent wants to stay, just let us know - especially for younger students :-)

Workshop schedule:

Please view the following pages for further descriptions of these classes and recommended ages... Bookings are essential and an enrolment form is included on the last page of this booklet.

Studio space includes: - large open studio space (approx 3.5m x 9m) with trestle tables and chairs (adult and child sizes)

- kitchenette: tea/coffee facilities, bar-fridge.

- bathroom with toilet.

- toy-box and mats for younger children.

- front deck with secure child-gate.

- basic art equipment: pencils, crayons, easels, scissors, tapes, glue, etc.

Private bookings:A Little Creative Studio is also available for private bookings... You can arrange a private lesson for a group of four or more students or hire the studio space for $20 per hour - and then purchase any of our group art tubs or individual art-projects for you and your friends.

“At the Circus”(Monday 24th Sept 9:30-11:30am)

Make a 3D clown, and explore the circus theme further through draw-ings in various media.

2hrs - $25 - suit ages 4-10

“Underwater world”(Tuesday 25th Sept 9:30-11:30am)

Make various sea-creatures from craft materials and draw/paint underwater scenes.


“Canvas Painting” (Tuesday 25th Sept 1-3pm)

Use acrylic paints to create your own masterpieces on either 2 small canvasses, or 1 large one. Bring your own drawings/pictures for inspirations ready to paint - or base your artwork on one of our ‘examples’.

“Clay”(Friday 5th October 9:30-11:30am)

Learn simple hand-building techniques to make people or animals in clay. Your clay creations will be fired, but it will take a few weeks for them to be ready to take home. (You can choose to take them home unfired and pay $5 less.)


“Monsters”(Monday 1st October 9:30-11:30am)

Draw and design scary and fun monsters, and use various materials to create a 3D monster!

“T-shirt print and decorate”(Tuesday 2nd October 9:30-11:30am)

BYO t-shirt/top and learn the basics of screenprinting.. Choose from our two sam-ple designs: ‘flower stems’ or ‘water-wave’. Students will assist in creating a successful screen-print and then continue to decorate their design with fabric markers and paints

2hrs - $30 - suit ages 6+

Details of our workshops:(to suit slightly older ages...)

“Superheroes”(Monday 1st October 1pm-4pm)

Invent a superhero-persona for yourself and decorate a unique cape with fabric-paint and markers. Using photography and drawing we will then create a com-ic-book cartoon-strip featuring you!

“Cushion Print”(Tuesday 2nd October 1pm-4pm)

Create your own design for a screen-print-ed cushion. You will learn how to cut your own template (using a scalpel) and print in one-colour. More colours can be added to your design with fabric paint and markers after printing.


“Clay”(Friday 5th October 1pm-4pm)

Learn how to create vases and boxes in ceramics and explore different patterns and surface textures to decorate. These pieces will be fired – but it will take a few weeks for them to be ready to take home!

Conditions of Enrolment:• Enrolments are not secure until this form

is signed and payment has been made in full.

• Refunds: No refunds will be issued after the commencement of a course. Students who choose to withdraw by giving notice prior to the commencement of the course are entitled to a refund minus a 20% administration fee. In the event that a class is cancelled by A Little Creative due to minimum enrolment numbers not being reached, or payment is received when the class is already full a full refund will be issued.

• Credits: No credits are issued for missed classes, unless in extreme medical circumstances and only when appropriate notice is given.

• Discounts: Early Bird discounts and some other discounts may apply - contact us for details, and adjust your final payment accordingly.

• Your personal details will be used solely for the use of A Little Creative and will not be passed on to any other sources.

• A Little Creative reserves the right to make photographic and/or visual recordings of all workshops for use in our archives and marketing material.

• A Little Creative does not accept any responsibility for any personal property left at the premises; nor does it accept liability for any personal injury, unless such an injury is caused through negligence on the part of an A Little Creative employee.

• All students are advised to wear appropriate clothing at the workshops i.e. clothing that can withstand materials being used, protective footwear, artsmock, etc. A Little Creative does not accept responsibility for damage or stains to clothing obtained during the workshop.

• Light refreshments may be provided at some workshops - so please advise us of any food allergies in advance.

• Please refrain from bringing nut snacks or products to any classes.
