Healthcare providers worldwide have put their physical and mental health at risk as they battle the COVID-19 pandemic. This is exacerbated by the often challenging position of integrative healthcare providers seeking to balance allopathic and integrative medicine. In addition to navigating these clinical challeng-es, practitioners are facing risks of adverse health effects due to the restrictions imple-mented such as quarantine measures, reduced social contact, and self-isolation.

How should integrative healthcare providers navigate this ever-changing challenging environment while still providing top-notch care? As a community of healthcare providers, advocates and consumers, we know that we need to mobilize and be the change we want to see during these challenging times. It is our opportunity to connect with people from all over the world to learn the latest information on the science of health and healing, network to move the integrative health movement forward, and be in a nurturing environment supported by our colleagues and friends.

At this time of global crisis, we have an opportunity to come together as a community to look deeply at where we have been and envision a new direction for where we are going.

We need each other to heal.COVID-19, in particular, has highlighted the deeper structural inequities at every level of society - that all influence our health. We at AIHM are taking a clear stance to be part of a global solution that shifts the current paradigm to heal ourselves, our communities and our planet.

Our task ahead is to begin to heal ourselves and our planet. As you will learn in this conference - they cannot be separated. This will entail experiences that allow us to heal structural racism and deep-seated inequities, raise the voices of those who have long been silenced, learn to share power authentically, re-align with our deepest core values as an integrative movement and as a human family. It is a call to action to heal the planet together.

Join us as we bring together global thought leaders to engage in powerful conversation through a highly interactive learning experience, designed to provide evidence-based solutions for wellness, improved professional satisfaction and patient care.

The Academy of integrative Health & Medicine is proud to be partnering with the International Federation of Anthroposophic Medical Associations to bring this highly engaging, evidence-based event to the global integrative health community. The COVID-19 pandemic is testing healthcare systems around the world, encouraging the development of new treatments and care approaches. Anthroposophic doctors have gathered numerous lessons in inpatient and outpatient care of COVID- 19 patients, integrating both conventional and specific anthroposophic treatments. These experiences have led to the development of best practices in the integrative treatment of COVID-19 and its “long-COVID” symptoms.
