7-1 OverallBlockDiagram The main system block consists mainly of MPEG processor (ESS Pheonix2 Plus). MICOM (LC87F5N), AUDIO ADC (CS5345), HDMI TRANSMITTER (ESS ES7108S), CEC MICOM (MC80F0316) and VIDEO DRIVER (LA73054). The CS5345 performs stereo A/D conversion with analog input such as AUX1, AUX2, TUNER and IPOD. The sampled data is transmitted by I2S format to MPEG processor (ES8391). MPEG (ES8391) IC supports DVD playback including mpeg4/divx and provides a 12bit YCbCr interface to connect to the HDMI transmitter and also the audio serial interface to PS9829B and wireless module. 5-Lines interface between MPEG and MICOM consists of TXD, RXD, ACK, STB and RESET. MICOM controls Front Block, CEC MICOM, Audio DAC, Tuner and AMP Block. The AMP Block consists of PS9830B, TAS5342, and other passive components. PS9830B transforms PCM to PWM Data (384kHz) and TAS5342 amplifies the signal to drive about 170W per channel (35V amplitude).
