GENERAL NOTES

· All concrete must be properly vibrated during placing.

· All inspections to be completed and written approval granted by Engineer or his representative before concrete may be cast.

· All exposed concrete edges to be chamfered 20mm x 20mm. Except if specified differently.

· PVC Water stops etc. to be maintained in position during each cast by means of galvanised wires etc.

· Wall consecutive lifts: Remove all loose concrete with electric breaker to expose solid concrete & clean before next lift is cast.

· Imported fill below main structure to be min. Grade G5/G6 or as approved by engineer.

· All steelwork must be thoroughly cleaned and hot dipped galvanised as per specification to SABS 763.

GENERAL NOTES

· Imported fill below main structure to be min. Grade G5/G6 or as approved by engineer.

· All steelwork must be thoroughly cleaned and hot dipped galvanised as per specification to SABS 763.
