SC BENCOMP SRL is the first manufacturer of wood composite (WPC) profiles in

Romania. Specialists with experience in the field of plastics processing produce over 50 WPC

profiles, within the production plant located in Buzau, Romania. Wood Polymer Composite or

WPC is a composite material obtained mainly from wood flour (over 50%) and plastics (resulted

from the collection of certain types of plastic packaging), mixture stabilized against UV

radiation, moulds and insects. The WPC has the appearance of natural wood, but it does not

crack, does not chip, does not rot, is non-slip (even when wet), water-repellent and

environmentally friendly. Composite wood outperforms natural wood, in terms of mechanical

bend, resistance to moisture, UV, low or high temperatures, moulds, insects. This material does

not release toxic gases, does not release substances harmful for the environment, comes from

recycled materials and is 100% recyclable after use, therefore it may be considered an organic

product.

Profiles have high durability and resistance, do not change colour and do not require

periodic maintenance. The profiles have a 5-year warranty, with the possibility of extending up

to 10 years (by increasing the percentage of anti-UV additive). Depending on the compliance

with the rules of installation, operation and maintenance, the life shelf of our composite wood

products is up to 25 years. One significant quality of WPC profiles is that they do not

significantly change their size by exposure to light and heat, the coefficient of expansion being

close to that of aluminium.

From WPC you can get fence panels, residential and commercial terraces, railings,

pontoons, bridges and boats bridges, gazebos, pergolas, outdoors panelling. Also, due to the

exceptional resistance to weathering, WPC products are the ideal solution for urban and garden

furniture (benches, tables, trash cans, large waterproof flower boxes, flower pots for ornamental

plants). Composite wood profiles can be used in any kind of light exterior design, except for

structural frames. The profiles produced by Bencomp are exported to the Netherlands, England,

Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Belgium or Iraq, being resistant both to the

humidity and cold in northern Europe, and the scorching heat in the desert areas.
