SBC uses a method that we have developed over several years called LEAN construction. By utilizing technologies and talent t less personnel is required on the construction site. By using a tight knitted team of prprofessionals we are able to communicate in a more effective way with our clients as well to our company internally.

CHITECTURE
Lean Design is the ongoing process of rethinking and improvingArchitectural and Engineering processes and methodologies. It isthe pursuit of better practice by applying Lean principals to everyaspect of our work. It is about smarter information flow and understanding how we perceive and process information to become better communicators.
Lean Design is not about skipping necessary steps or omitting Lean Design is not about skipping necessary steps or omitting information. On the contrary it is identifying what adds value and reduces or eliminates factors that do not. We integrate this approach in every aspect of the design and engineering process; ie:
1. Structure our work effort so that projects can flow better, by indentifying processes and tasks which contribute value and eliminate those that do not, eliminate those that do not,
2. Reduce unforeseen variations in the way we work and the deliverables we produce.
3. Identify and eliminate or mitigate, constraints in the office and on project sites. Seek out what hinders us from delivering excellent quality work. These can be policies, practices, people and levels of expertise or equipment.
Project planning and control from a critical path standpoint, identifies what needs to occur during each appropriate phase and allows for coordinating efforts between the various disciplines to achieve the desired outcome, while communicating critical information between highly qualified team members. This overall process detailed above is Lean Project Management.
SBSBC proactivley targets to minimize or prevent construction site issues before they arise on site by being fully engaged with the client in the project from the early stages. During the design process our project managers are already engaged in the process by reviewing the Building Information Model (BIM) and eliminating future site issues, eliminating variances that causes design error and saving our clients capitol investment.
LLean Project Management allows a concurrent design and engineering flow delivering buildings that are not only aesthetically pleasing functional, safe and constructible. Where possible SBC integrates major design and decision making with a simultaneous costing and value engineering exercise so that so the so the entire scope of the project is complete by the end of the design development and is ready to build
