Outstanding November Food Drive
During the recent November food drive, Trinity did much to replenish the food shelves at the Salvation Army Eastside facility. Outgaining previous November drives when our congregation was larger, the donations amounted to 285 items and $615. Sunday, November 2, was included in these totals. Thank you to all who shopped for specific items or wrote a check. Thanks to Dave Holmberg and Betty Lundholm who, on separate occasions, delivered almost 300 items to the Payne Avenue building in less than ideal weather. "The people need the food," was a remark overheard. Lastly, gratitude to Marilyn Lindman who counted most of the items before delivery.
The Salvation Army's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs. Trinity helps to fulfill those needs. Maudella Albright, Food Shelf Ministry Chair

Trinity Talk
Looking ahead to next Sunday: Christmas is often a confusing time for followers of Jesus. We want to focus on the meaning of Christmas and celebrate the working of God’s great restoration project, but we find ourselves overwhelmed by the chaos and noise of our cultural celebration of Christmas. Next week we will look at the promise of peace that Christ’s advent brings and how we can get that into our lives.
Baby news: Congratulations to Bob and Kathy Pedersen on the birth of their first grandson, Daniel Caleb, on October 11. Proud parents are Joe and Jackie Calandra. Daniel and his
grandfather, Bob, now share the same birthday.
The wreaths are here: If you purchased a Christmas wreath or swag from Boy Scout Troop 50, please see Brad Johnson this morning. Following Worship, he will be in the south parking lot (white pickup truck). If you have questions, call Brad at 651-772-2346.
New office hours: Beginning this week, in addition to the regular hours on Monday - Thursday, the office will be open Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Candidates needed: Please take the opportunity to nominate a candidate, or candidates, for the Nominating Committee (two vacancies) and the Board of Stewards (five vacancies). If you wish to nominate a Trinity member, please get that person’s approval and then give the name or names to a Nominating committee member (Linda Dahlby, Marilyn Lindman, Debbie Matthews, BOS Rep Keith Matthews, Linda Wagner, and ex-officio member Pastor Peter Vogt). Nominations close next Sunday, December 7.
