Community News:
Webster resident Mike Shtengrat has become a local
celebrity around town, for selling his jars of honey.
Last week Mike was in a car accident, and we are very
happy to hear he is doing well and already back
selling honey!
Mike and his family are longtime Webster residents,
having immigrated from Ukraine in 1999. Making
honey started as a retirement hobby for Mike about
10 years ago and true to form, even an accident could
not keep him from his beekeeping the next day.
You can find Mike selling honey on the roadside, both
in Webster and Penfield. He can be found most days
at a table with an umbrella for shade, in all kinds of
weather. To find Mike’s daily locations for sales,
check out the Honeyman Facebook Page. Photo Courtesy Honeyman Facebook Page
All of Webster wishes you a speedy recovery Mike!
Friends of Webster Trails:
Thank you to Bud, Craig, Linda,
Tom, Fred, Denise, Ron, the
youth mountain biking group
and parents, and everyone else
who volunteered to move and
place gravel and remove rock
and cut roots from the trails at
the Bird Sanctuary Trail and
the Chiyoda Trail.
We appreciate all of the hard
work these volunteers do to
keep Webster’s trails in great
condition for all of our
community to enjoy!

experiences of these groups with respect to the use/abuse of alcohol, tobacco, vaping

Sensory Inclusive Designation
The Webster Public Library has partnered with KultureCity to make the library sensory inclusive! Sensory bags, equipped with noise canceling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards, and weighted lap pads will also be available to all guests who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. These individuals will also be able to use a dedicated sensory area with a sensory station for those who may need a quieter and more secure environment. We are glad for the chance to make the library a more welcoming and inclusive place for all our community!
Used Book Donations
The Friends of the Webster Public Library regret that we will not be accepting book donations temporarily. We will begin accepting donations later in the fall of this year following our Fall Indoor Book Sale. We are compelled to make this decision because we simply have no more room to store books. Thanks to the very generous book donations we have received from the community over the past several months, we have more books than space allows.
Also, thanks to those generous donations we will have many wonderful books to offer at our sale in October!
If you have books to donate in the meantime, please check with other area libraries or drop the books at the Savers or Goodwill donation centers. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank for your past generosity and your understanding of our temporary storage situation.
