Ê Averaging 17.9 pitches per inning…the highest qualifier in club history was Odorizzi (18.0, 2014), and the highest qualifier in the majors this season is SD Ian Kennedy (17.3).

Ê TOP OF THE ORDER—Through his first 5 starts, opposing 1-thru-3 hit-ters are batting .421 (16-for-38) with 2 HR against him, including 6-for-8 with RISP…opposing 4-thru-9 hitters are batting .288 (17-for-59) with 1 HR, including 3-for-19 with RISP.

Ê WITH A LEAD—Has pitched with 5 leads in his 5 starts and failed to hold any of them…led 2-0 on July 20 at PHI, and allowed 3 runs the next half inning…had a 2-1 lead on July 12 vs. HOU before a 2-run homer by Jose Altuve, and only got the win after the Rays scored twice in the bottom of the 5th before he was replaced…also led 4-3 and 1-0 on July 7 (G1) at KC and 2-0 in his season debut on July 2 vs. CLE.

Ê Prior to Moore, the only team to go longer than the Rays since their last Tommy John surgery on a big leaguer was Milwaukee, accord-ing to the Hardball Times website…their last was RH David Riske, just two weeks before Isringhausen.
