The State Government and the Central Government may jointly appoint one or more persons to review the work and progress of die Mission, and to hold inquiiies into the alTairs thereof and to report hereon in such manner as the Governments may stipulate; and upon receipt of any such report, the Stale Govenimcnt may, in consultation with the Central Government, issue such direction as it may consider necessaiy, in respect of any ofthe matters dealt with in die report, and tlie Mission sliall be bound to comply with such diiections. In addition, die State CJovenimcnt nny, in consuhation widi the Central Govenmient, at anytime, issue directives on matters of policy to die Mission and the latter sliall be bound to promptly comply with such directives.
