This team building and experiential learning workshop takes one away from the familiar environment and places students into an environment of experimentation. Therefore this allows participants to be challenged, to think about and experiment with new concepts, and to take some risks (calculated).

SynchronizationThe essence of this programme is that the members of the team, work well together either as a group from the outset or initially simply compliment each other as individuals in which case the team building process will progress smoothly.The potential compatibility of any particular individual with the rest of the team will be critically important for the team to succeed.

Activities that we conduct

Trust fallTrust fall is a classic activity because it is so effective at helping a team to explore the issue of trust. Each member has to fall backwards from a height of 5ft on the stretched arms of his/her team members.

Learn to tie Knots This allows the students to use

the rope for many special purposes. Like to let them tie into the rope, anchor themselves and also to join ropes of equal and unequal diameters.

Parallel RopesThese are two parallel lines tied at a certain height in which the students will have to cross from one side to the other, holding the top line and balancing with their feet on the bottom line. This activity develops compassion, empathy, communication and cooperation amongst group members.

Monkey CrawlingThis is an activity which requires a lot of physical strength and determination. Each member has to traverse on a thick jute rope using the arm and calf muscles. During the activity a belay is tied for safety reasons.

Swing Ladder ClimbingA comparatively easy activity which involves climbing a ladder made of ropes and bamboos freely suspended from a tight wire swinging in air. The height of the ladder can go up to 10 mtrs.

Burma BridgeAn improvised bridge made of ropes, used to cross rivers, crags and gorges’ during the Burmese war. This activity increases self confidence of the participants. If tied loose, this is not as easy as it appears to be.

Double JumaringJumaring is a method of climbing vertical ropes using mechanical devices known as ‘Jumars’ (ascenders). The key to Jumaring is to grasp the correct technique in the beginning; otherwise it takes away the entire strength of the arms

Tent Pitching and use of improvised shelters.

Participants learn the art of pitching ‘A’ shape tents, selecting the campsite and the concepts of tents as an alternate means of shelter in the wilderness.

TwineTwine is a rope course in which the students have to cross from one side to the other holding the dangling lines suspended from a horizontal rope on top. This requires the students to stretch their arms to the extreme to reach the suspended ropes.

Tyrolean TraverseThis is a method of crossing rivers in the mountains. The participants are anchored with the harness to a fixed horizontal line and have to pull their body weight from one side to the other using the strength of their arms.

Cat WalkParticipants are required to balance on their fours on the two ropes tied adjacent to each other. This challenge allows the participants to expand their comfort zone and recognize fears that may block personal achievements

Single JumaringLearning to climb vertical ropes with the use of a single jumar attached to the harness of the climber.

Net ClimbingA member is required to climb a matrix of ropes. This activity provides fun fitness challenge at each individual students pace.

Human WebA Team building experiential game, strong emphasis on importance of planning and strategy in execution of group task. This activity is to transport the team through a web made of ropes.

This is a game in which a situation of conflict is created and the teams have to convert it into that of collaboration instead and take as much as they can

Broken SquaresIt is a communication exercise in which equal sized squares have to be completed with given pieces. The focus is on teamwork. A key exercise to learn the role of sharing in any team effort and how necessary it is to start giving before taking in relationships.

Raft BuildingStudents are required to build a raft and keep it afloat with the given resources and thereafter pilot it across the pool. In raft building every member has a memorable and a hilarious time with realistic goals that leaves everyone with a sense of achievement and pride.
