Part One
1. System Requirement 1.1. Pentium 4 1.2. Processor speed 2.4 Mhz or more. 1.3. RAM 512 or more 1.4. Hard Disk 120 GB
2. Operating System 2.1. Windows NT with service pack 4 or 2.2. Windows 2000 server with service pack 4
3. Operating System installation procedure.
1. Install Windows 2000 Server 2. Give the System Name as ERP 3. Partition the Hard disk, The SAP Installation partition should be minimum 75GB free space 4. Install the Motherboard Drives
4. Change the system date to future year so that SAP will run upto that date . This software will work for month from the date of installation. For example , Current Date : 12.10.2004 Change the system date to 12.10.2005 Grace period for SAP is 12.10.2005 +30 After complete installation change system date to current date, SAP 4.7 will run up to 12.10.2005 + 29 days with out expiry of licence. 5. Install the Network Adapter and assign an IP Address, If ur system is a Stand alone System Add Micro Soft Loop back Adapter Start->Settings->Control Panel-> Add/Remove New hardware -> Next-> Add or Troubleshoot a device-> select Add New Device->Next->Select No, I want to select the hardware from the list->Next->select Network Adapters-> Next-> Select the Manufacturer Microsoft -> Microsoft Loop back Adapter->next -> Finish Loop back Adapter Installation

ok- ok Check that the ipaddress is binded or not Open the Command Prompt--- Type ipconfig It will show the ipaddress configration

Increase Virtual Memory to Initial Size. 2048 Maximum Size 2560 Click on Set then ok - ok 6. 1st Step towards installation : Our operating system is loaded in drive C: and we want to install SAP
on D: Drive a. Create One folder named as 47ides in D:\ (D:\47ides)
Copy the first CD (db1) to D:\47ides Copy the contents of 2nd to 7th CDs into D:\47IDES\db1\EXPORT1\DATA The Size of the db1 should be 3.89GB
b. Copy the 8th CD(db2) into D:\47IDES
Copy the contents of 9th to 14th th CDs into D:\47IDES\db2\EXPORT2\DATA The Size of the db2 should be 4.25GB
c. Copy the 15th CD's db3 into D:\4.7ides
Copy the 16th and 17th CD contents into D:\47ides\db3\Export3\DATA The size of the db3 should be 1.83GB
d. Run the Oracle Setup D:\47ides\Oracle\Nt\i386\sapserver.bat Next next -----Here it load the Oracle, After Installation Completed Successfully----.- Exit

Note :- (At the time of installation of oradba.exe , a dialog box will be pop up for installation of net8 configuration, check the check box for typical configuration of net8 click net , it will end the oracle installation) Restart the System. e. Run the j2sdk-1_4_1_05-windows-i586.exe from the Kernel CD
It will install java C:\j2sdk Assign the Java paths in My Computer -> Control Panel -> System properties- Advanced Environment Variables In the User Variable for Administrator Click on NEW Variable Name : JAVA_HOME Variable Vaule : C:\J2SDK( This is Java Installed Directory) Click OK Under System Variable Select Path - Edit Add C:\J2sdk\bin at the end of the existing path %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\jdk1.4\bin;

ok- ok Test the Java compiler at the command prompt C:\javac
7. SAP SETUP Run the R3DLLINS.EXE from D:\4.7\kernel\NT\I386\NTPATCH Run SETUP>EXE from D:\4.7\kernel\SAPINST\NT\SETUP.BAT License Agreement Click - I Agree

Click on Next It will Copy some files and it will prompt u for reboot

Click OK CENTRAL INSTANCE After Rebooting, Automatically the installation will start

Select SAP R/3 Enterprises 4.70 for Oracle Click Next License agreement - Click I Agree

No MNLS Supported Click Next It Will Start the Database Installation It will take 18 hours time At RFC Configuration It will show the error U start the SAP Server Desktop SAP Management Console SAP R/3 System ERP- Right Click on ERP and Click Start The ERP icon will change the colour Yellow and Green Then click on retry it will Finish the Installation Once Installation was Completed Installation of front End U have to Install the SAP GUI 6.20 Insert The CD

Click SETUP
Click Next It will ask the path where u want to install Click next Select all the Components by clicking Select All Option (Right Side) It will install the Gui Software ---------------------- Finish------------------ Stop the SAP Server Desktop SAP Management Console SAP R/3 System ERP- Right Click on ERP and Click Stop The ERP Icon colour will be changed to GREY RESTART THE SYSTEM Start the SAP Server

Give the Description ERP Application Server Ipaddress of ur System Ex: 192.100.10.1 System Number :00 Click Ok Log on to ERP User name: SAP* Password: 06071992 Type the T-Code SU01( User Maintance)

Type SAPUSER in the Test Box and Click on NEW Button
This screen will open Give th Title and Last Name Click on Logon Data , Give th Initial Password( This Will be chaged in Next Logon) Click on Profiels Give the profiles Names SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW Choose Save Logout the SAP GUI Do the Same for Both 000 and 800 Clients Open the SAP Logonpad Click ERP Logon Logon as SAPUSER and Initial Password ( What u was given at the time of user creation)

It will prompt u for the passwod Type the T-Code SE38 (ABAP Workbentch) Type any Program Name Choose Create The program name should start with Z (Ex: Zsunil) It will ask u for License Key Enter the 36687663221261278694
