Participation
More than £77,000 was secured in revenue funding from
local supporters and businesses, and more than £115,000
was raised for the House Development Fund. This contributed to
the replacement of electrical equipment in the Main House – an
improvement recognised by a national award nomination.
A Month in the Country –TMA Theatre Awards nomination for Best Lighting Design
Development
More than 102,000 tickets were sold
for productions in the Main House and
Salberg Studio – a 9% increase on the
previous year.
33,910 people benefited from some
form of ticket discount.
In 2008/2009 it had an annual turnover of almost £2.5 million
and generated £7.2 million through Additional Visitor Spend,
staff and contractor expenditure, and engaging the services of local
suppliers. This meant that for every £1 of District and County
Council funding received, a further £11 was injected into
the local economy.
Full statutory accounts for 2008/2009 are available on request.
