Savills Announces Excellent Waterfront Investment Opportunities in Edinburgh

John Reid and Ian Brown of Deloitte LLP have been appointed Joint Administrators of Gregor Shore Limited. The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Administrators, who act as agents of the company and without personal liability.

Savills have been appointed by the Joint Administrators of Gregor Shore Ltd (In Administration) to manage the sales and marketing of Platinum Point at Western Harbour and Anchor at Granton Marina, two high profile developments in Edinburgh’s waterfront area.

Prices of apartments at these two developments have been cut by up to a third, compared to 2008. They now represent an attractive investment opportunity and high quality homes at realistic prices.

Waterfront Living Close to the City

Platinum Point at Western Harbour and Anchor at Granton Marina are located in prime positions along Edinburgh’s waterfront. The area is home to employers including the Scottish Executive and Telford College and is a growing neighbourhood only three miles from the City Centre.

Local shopping amenities are very good. A number of supermarkets are close to both developments, including a 24-hr Asda store. The prestigious Ocean Terminal shopping centre offers a range of designer shops, places to eat and a Marks & Spencer store. It also contains the Vue cinema complex.

A range of well-regarded restaurants are close by, including the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and the award-winning Britannia Spice.
