For ourselves at Bohrson Marketing Services, this is our only “Consignment Simmental Sale” of the fall and we are very proud of the offering that has been assembled and want to thank the consignors for showing their trust in us once again and selling the very best from their programs through this special event. The Simmental industry is very exciting and continually on the rise with breeders constantly look for a special breeding piece to add to their program. We feel that behind every great one, there has to be a strong cow family and we have worked very hard again this year to acquire a sale offer-ing that is backed by the very best genetics in the breed. Over 2/3 of the sale offering are direct progeny from donor females and the remaining 1/3 have been selected from the top hard-working, cornerstone females that these programs have been built around. Erixon Lady 202S has fast become the most famous cow in our herd, for good reason - she produces amazing females! We have sold 4 daughters from 202S so far for an average price of $16,000, and thankfully have 2 others working at home. She is a fantastic female! Lady in red 314A is a full sister to the heifer that Lazy rainbow river ranch bought from us at the National Trust sale last fall in Brandon for $13,000, and Jennilee loves her! 314A is setting up for a perfect udder, is so sweet fronted, has a huge hip and rib shape to her just like her older sister has, you just love to look at her. 314 A could be a heifer to jackpot next year and then become that great pasture cow that you come to rely on. She was just recently a class winner at the National Simmental show at Farm Fair. Sired by the high selling bull at the Kopp dispersal sale, Crosby, who sold to Bonchuck’s and Bouchard Livestock for $36,000, Crosby’s daughters at that sale, and in our own herd, have that mother cow look, and they produce! These three heifers are incredible in their own right. They are stout, huge hipped, deep ribbed, with a ton of capacity. All three came from the standout bull to sell in the fall of 2011, ‘Horizon’ who sold for a staggering $82,000. Anyone that has calves out of this young sire say that they are at the top of the 2013 calf crop whether bulls or heifers. The bulls are coming along great, showing excellent signs of maturity and performance, while the females are feminine and stylish with an insane amount of body. All Horizon calves come easy and come out with tops and rear quarters like no other calves we have had before. Starting with 3A, the darkest, biggest hipped, and maybe the largest topped at the time of this footnote is out of a great cow that is a model female. 6168S is a big bodied cow that has a large hoof under her and has an udder that is perfect to most standards. She has two daughters in herd that are closely following in her footsteps. 37A is a different type compared to 3A but still very powerful in a softer smaller package. She is moderate framed and as soft made as they come with a hip that blends nicely into a deep flank and large rib. Her dam is a no miss producer that has three daughters in herd and has sent three bulls through the ring at our annual bull sale. She is impressive in structure and body mass. Like most Bodybuilder females she is dark red, big bodied, and graced with an awesome udder. The 64A female is remarkable. She is very well balanced, clean fronted, and wicked haired. Soft, deep, and long, with a great disposition are all attributes that best describe Ms Hollywood. She may be a bit bigger framed than the other two heifers offered on choice here but has the depth and capacity to carry off her little extra size with ease. Her dam is a large framed female with tons of rib shape and great producer. We feel all three of these heifer calves have a lot to offer to their new owners. These three are all very similar yet have their own styles that will have an eye ap-peal to many different producers making it a unique choice lot in our opinion.

These three heifers are incredible in their own right. They are stout, huge hipped, deep ribbed, with a ton of capacity. All three came from the standout bull to sell in the fall of 2011, ‘Horizon’ who sold for a staggering $82,000. Anyone that has calves out of this young sire say that they are at the top of the 2013 calf crop whether bulls or heifers. The bulls are coming along great, showing excellent signs of maturity and performance, while the females are feminine and stylish with an insane amount of body. All Horizon calves come easy and come out with tops and rear quarters like no other calves we have had before. Starting with 3A, the darkest, biggest hipped, and maybe the largest topped at the time of this footnote is out of a great cow that is a model female. 6168S is a big bodied cow that has a large hoof under her and has an udder that is perfect to most standards. She has two daughters in herd that are closely following in her footsteps. 37A is a different type compared to 3A but still very powerful in a softer smaller package. She is moderate framed and as soft made as they come with a hip that blends nicely into a deep flank and large rib. Her dam is a no miss producer that has three daughters in herd and has sent three bulls through the ring at our annual bull sale. She is impressive in structure and body mass. Like most Bodybuilder females she is dark red, big bodied, and graced with an awesome udder. The 64A female is remarkable. She is very well balanced, clean fronted, and wicked haired. Soft, deep, and long, with a great disposition are all attributes that best describe Ms Hollywood. She may be a bit bigger framed than the other two heifers offered on choice here but has the depth and capacity to carry off her little extra size with ease. Her dam is a large framed female with tons of rib shape and great producer. We feel all three of these heifer calves have a lot to offer to their new owners. Seeing this great female go got a little easier seeing her full sister follow closely in 93Z shadow. Wonder Woman has been Ai’ed to the calving easy bull JS Sure Bet 4S. After using Sure Bet last year the semen we had left in the tank got used up quick when we started Ai’ing later that spring. He calved easy with lots of vigor with male calves that show great signs of calving ease with smooth shoulders and nice heads. His daughters are soft made and deep bodied. He left a blaze on all but one calf at our place, which adds to the excitement involved in 93Z.
