What’s included

Sicon Manufacturing modules can be purchased as a suite or individually, depending on business requirements.

Manufacturing Suite

The Manufacturing Suite consists of Works Order Processing, Material & Resource Planning, Kitting & Projects modules. It provides the core modules in one package, at an overall monthly price and is suitable for both one-off job costed manufacture and high volume repeat production.

Material & Resource Planning (MRP)

The Material & Resource Planning module enables businesses to improve their planning processes and drive efficiencies and greater control.

The Material Planning functionality creates suggested works & purchase orders to ensure stock levels are kept at the required levels. Orders are suggested based on information sources including supplier and production lead times, minimum order quantities, sales orders and sales forecasts.

The Resource Planning functionality shows graphical schedules for labour and machine capacity with the ability to drill down into works orders and plan to a daily or weekly schedule. It also allows for the production plan to be adjusted by moving works orders and sub-assemblies in real time.

Works Order Processing (WOP)

The Works Order Processing module is ideal for businesses who need a simplified stock allocation and issuing process with the ability to amend works orders during assembly. WOP links in with the Projects module to enable works orders to be costed and allocated against jobs. Features available within WOP include allocation and issue of stock with full Sage 200 traceability and the option to explode multi-level BOM’s into a single works order list.

Kitting

The Kitting module can improve stock control by allocating and issuing component parts faster. It’s ideal for simple kit assembly with the ability to amend components and is fully integrated within Sage 200. Within the module you can create single level parts lists using Sage 200 stock items that can then be allocated and issued to make a finished product.

Projects

The Projects module is specifically suitable for project costed manufacturers who need to track and allocate labour & materials. It links in with the WOP module so both stock and labour can be allocated to jobs, as well as integrating within Sage 200 Purchase Ledger, SOP, POP, Stock and Time Recording. Key features include the ability to create complex job structures and the job enquiry and management screen, which provides a simple view of jobs, showing all costs, revenues and budgets which businesses can run to report on actual production vs plan.

As well as the modules included in the Manufacturing Suite, there are also two mobile, on-the-go apps that can be added on to complete the Manufacturing solution.

Barcoding & Warehousing

The Barcoding & Warehousing module is most suitable for works order and kit manufacturing. Real time integration with all Manufacturing Suite modules drives accurate and automated stock management, whilst saving time on the floor through on-the-go management via tablets or hand held devices (to be bought separately).

Shop Floor Data Capture

Links to both WOP & Projects modules so stock and resource consumption is updated in real time, leading to improved stock and resource management. Again this saves time on the floor through on-the-go management via tablets or hand held devices (to be bought separately).



ManufacturingSicon Manufacturing is a set of additional modules for Sage 200, integrated with Stock, BOM, Sales and Purchase Order Processing. Including modules for Job Costing, Works Order Processing and Estimating, this package can be configured for one-off job costed manufacture or high volume repeat production manufacture. Material and Resource Planning provides suggested works orders and purchase orders plus a rough cut capacity plan at labour and machine levels.

Works Order Processing (WOP)

Sicon Works Order Processing is designed specifically for Sage 200, integrating with BOM and Stock Control. It provides enhanced functionality to the Sage 200 BOM module and is an ideal addition for clients in manufacturing who need a simplified stock allocation and issuing process with the ability to amend works orders during assembly.

• Create Works Orders from the standard Sage 200 BOM’s with version control.

Weekly labour and machine capacity demand is created from Works Orders and generates a rough cut capacity plan.
