Goals & Objectives

1. Replace the existing Red River Bridge and KCS Railroad Overpass as

they are both structurally deficient and functionally obsolete.

2. Improve the horizontal and vertical roadway geometrics as they no

longer meet present day design standards.

3. Reduce traffic accidents.

4. Improve traffic levels of service while protecting environmental,

cultural and historic assets.
