Stage Crew

Appreciation Page

Our Dearest Stage Crew,

It is only appropriate to dedicate a page of this year’s Cadenza to you as a way of thanking

you all. Though it may not be openly expressed by students, staff, or faculty on a daily basis, we all

truly appreciate the hard work and effort that is put out every day. Most people don’t realize the

amount of behind the scenes work (pun heavily intended) that is done here at the festival every day.

We walk around blissfully ignorant of the immense amount of odds and ends that need to be taken

care of. Most students don’t think about how all 200+ chairs get magically set up every morning

before festival choir, who makes sure proper equipment is where it needs to be at the right time and

place, or even who fixes the things we may break. So on behalf of the entire festival, the Cadenza

committee would like to thank the every member of this year’s stage crew. Without you all this

festival would come apart at the seams! Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and you all will

thrive in life with the impressive work ethics you possess. Again, we thank you.

Sincerely,

The NYSMF Cadenza Committee
