INTERESTED IN A CONVENIENT AND COST-SAVING WAY TO GET
YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED?
We can help! Employees who are enrolled in Roger Williams University medical
coverage are eligible to participate in the Catamaran Home Delivery program.
What are the benefits of using Catamaran?
Receive up to a 90-day supply of medicine at a time.
Discounted co-pays when 90-day supplies are ordered.
Medications are shipped to the destination of your choice, free of charge!
Registered pharmacists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to
answer any questions.
Refill your prescription by mail, online, or over the phone.
What prescription drugs are covered?
Most prescription drugs that are covered by Blue Cross are available through
mail order. Typically, these are maintenance drugs; those you need to take
regularly.
When will I get my order?
You should receive your order within 10-14 days.
What if I need my prescription faster than the 10-14 day delivery time?
2nd day air or next day air delivery is available at an additional cost.
How do I get started? – It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3
1. Get a written prescription from your doctor for a 90-day supply of medication, plus
refills. (If you need your prescription filled right away, also get a prescription for a
short-term supply that you can fill at a local participating pharmacy.)
2. Fill out the Mail Service Order Form located online at:
https://www.bcbsri.com/sites/default/files/Catamaran_mail_form.pdf
3. Mail the original prescription (not a copy) and your completed Mail Service Order

RWYOU BENEFIT INFORMATION
DID YOU SIGN UP FOR A FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA) FOR 2015?
If you signed up to contribute to a health, dependent care, or transportation FSA, then you should have received two important items mailed to your home in December:
1. A new debit card. 2. An FSA Member Guide from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI.
As announced last October, FSA plan information is now located on the Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI website. The Member Guide explains how you can set up your user account and also how to be reimbursed for your health, dependent care, or commuter expenses. If you don’t have a copy of the guide, you can find one on our HR website:
http://www.rwu.edu/about/university-offices/human-resources/benefits
The FSA information on the Blue Cross website includes the names of covered dependents and account information. It’s very important that you received this information, because it has your FSA Employer ID number on Page 7. The FSA Employer ID is necessary for your account set up on the Blue Cross website, if you do not have medical insurance through the University. If you did not receive the FSA Member guide, or your new debit card, please contact London Health Administrators at 401-435-4700, Option 3 (Customer Service).
What else is new to the FSA plan? Your debit card can be used for health, dependent or commuter expense. Previously your debit card could only be used for health expenses. What if your dependent care provider doesn’t accept debit cards? No problem…. on the Blue Cross website you can set up direct reimbursement of your dependent care costs to your bank account. Once you set up direct reimbursement then future dependent care claims will be deposited directly into your account.
Another new feature is that you can check your claims status and account balance, or submit claims for payment and view paid claim information on the Blue Cross website. You can even verify your debit card information including the card and pin numbers; and if you have lost your debit card, you can request a new one. Where you check the information depends on whether you have Blue Cross insurance through the University. If you have health insurance through the University then you can access both your medical claims information, your HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement Account) and your FSA account information by using this link:
www.bcbsri.com
You may have already set up a user name and password to check your Blue Cross plan information or claims history. If that is the case, then you can use the same login information to access your FSA and HRA account information.
If you do not have health insurance coverage through the University, then you can access your FSA account information at: www.mywealthcareonline.com/bcbsri
On this website you can register for access using the unique FSA Employer ID number provided in the FSA guide. You will have the same features and services as someone who has Blue Cross coverage and an FSA account through the University.
There’s even a mobile app if you prefer not to use your desktop computer! The application is compatible with your Apple or Android smartphone. Downloadable instructions are in the FSA Member Guide and on the Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI website.
What about any balances from 2014?
As of January 1, 2015, remaining balance information for your FSA account remains with London Health Administrators. The FSA balance information includes any 2014 health FSA unused deposits and your transportation FSA account balance.
Remember your health FSA balance as of December 31, 2014 may be used for any eligible health-related expenses you incurred during 2014 and through March 15, 2015. You have until June 15, 2015 to submit any health-related expenses you had up to March 15, 2015 that are to be paid from your 2014 contributions. To submit a claim, complete a London Health Administrator’s claim form, and submit to London Health Administrators. The claim form is located on the HR website on the Benefits page.
Questions? Call London Health Administrators Customer Service line, available Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) – New Claims Process…
If you have medical insurance through the University and School of Law, then you have an HRA plan. The University and the School of Law introduced the HRA plan in 2009, and coverage continues today.
The University and School of Law pay for the majority of the cost of the Blue Cross Plan deductible through the HRA plan. The Blue Cross plan deductible is $3,000 per calendar year for individual coverage and $6,000 per calendar year for family plans. Until recently you’ve had two medical ID cards; one from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI and one from London Health Administrators. We’ve made it easier for you to notify a health provider that you have additional coverage for the deductible. Now you have one card, a new Blue Cross ID card, and it has “HRA” printed on the bottom of the card. When a medical provider sees it, they know not to bill you for the deductible.
What happens when your claim is sent to Blue Cross? The Blue Cross HRA administrator pays the eligible deductible amount to the health care provider. You are sent a statement if you owe a portion of the deductible.
What if my medical provider bills me? Don’t pay the bill…call or email Blue Cross Customer Service and ask about the deductible cost….is it being processed? You will have to pay your portion of the deductible, and you will be billed for that amount once Blue Cross processes both the Blue Cross plan payment and the HRA plan payment. The Customer Service contact information is located on the back of your Blue Cross ID card. We’ve listed it below for your convenience:
On the phone: (401) 459-5000 or, from outside Rhode Island, 1-800-639-2227 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On the Web: Use the secure messaging feature to send a message 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You’ll receive a reply within one business day. You can click here to send a secure message or go to the Blue Cross website and click on the “Contact Us’ link.
Where can you find more information about the HRA plan? A Blue Cross Member Guide explains how you can set up your user name and password on the Blue Cross website. The Guide was mailed to your home in December. If you need a copy of the guide, go to the HR website:
http://www.rwu.edu/about/university-offices/human-resources/benefits
What else can you do on the Blue Cross website? Visit www.bcbsri.com and you can:
- Review your plan benefits; - Check claims status; - Request a replacement ID card; - Find out about discounts for gym memberships and other products and services; - Find and compare health providers; - Review plans they accept and read patient reviews; and - Watch videos about healthy eating, health habits, and learn about health conditions.
Questions? Call Blue Cross customer service at 800-639-2227, or you can also call London Health Administrators customer service at 401-435-4700, Option 3.

IMPORTANCE OF TIMELY REPORTING OF WORKPLACE INJURIES
The Roger Williams University Department of Environmental Health and Safety develops and monitors programs to assist in providing a safe environment for all members of the University’s community. All reported accidents, injuries and illnesses are investigated by the Department of Environmental Health and Safety.
In order to ensure prompt investigation and reporting to the University’s workers’ compensation carrier as well as fulfill federal and state regulatory requirements, it is mandatory that every employee illness or injury that occurs at work, regardless if it results in lost time, is reported to the employee’s direct supervisor and to Human Resources within 24 hours, utilizing the University-provided illness/injury reporting form. The illness/injury reporting form is available on both the Human Resources and Environmental Health and Safety websites. The form should be submitted within the 24 hour time frame even if all details or required fields are not available (such as the signature of the injured employee). An updated copy of the report with the additional information can be provided after the initial report is filed.
Please direct any questions regarding employee illness/injury reporting to either:
Environmental Health & Safety or the Department of Human Resources.
