Russian currency Russian currency is Russian ruble. One U.S
dollar is worth 31.10 Russian rubles. One Russian ruble is equal to
$0.03 ( Three cents.)

There is a lot of different types of food in Russia! One type
is called blini. Blini is like a crepe. Another type of food is
called Piroshki. It is a type of bun, though instead of just being
bread, it is stuffed with cheese, fish, meats, mushrooms, and
potatoes. Blini Piroshki YUM!!!

Russian Clothing There are clothing for everyone. There are
even clothing for special holidays. Men wear clothing called
Kosovorotka. It is a silk shirt. Women wear dresses. Children wear
smaller versions of adult clothing.

Russia has many different holidays. Even like Christmas. They
celebrate a little different though. Yes, there is Santa but he has
a helper named Snegurochka, the snow maiden. Another holiday is
called Defender of the Fatherland day. It is celebrated on February
23 rd. It is to celebrate the Armed Forces of the Russian
Federation.

National Bird and Flower Russias national bird is their
two-headed eagle. Their national flower is the Chamomile.

How is Russia and The U.S. alike? TV Like U.S. Russia has TV
shows. Even for children. Some programs like sesame street are
Russian but Russia has different shows like Cheburashka. We are
also both ruled by the president. We also have a large amount of
area of both of out countries.
