Winshuttle RUNNER™ allows any authorized SAP user to securely manage SAP business processes using predefined transaction templates and query files, which are built using Winshuttle’s other products, TRANSACTION and QUERY. With RUNNER, a user can move data and any errors in the data are immediately flagged in the Excel file and can be easily corrected and reprocessed.

RUNNER can be run completely from within Excel (2003 or 2007) or as a desktop application, with the same functionality available in either option. Running from within Excel is incredibly useful as it lets users enter and extract SAP data without having to go through the SAP UI, or even have detailed knowledge of the underlying SAP system, yet all of the SAP security and data validation rules still apply. This allows great flexibility, and the ability to spread SAP work to users who aren’t SAP experts without the fear of compromising security or data integrity.
