When you are stuck…

• Look in your writer’s notebook

• Check your writing territories

• Check your notes

When you edit.

• Look at your proofreading list• Self edit in a different color from the print

When you are finished…

Clip or staple everything together, including draft, notes, lists, peer conference form, editing check list. File it in your folder for the teacher to review. The final copy will be on top.

Record every piece of writing you finish on the form inside. Reflect on your writing.

Write as well and as much as you can.

Work hard…make literature.

Find the writer within you. It’s there and you will be famous some day!
